well anime like Lain.. hmm Lain is orginal and i didnt find anime that is similar to it.. but if you like Lain you will like this animes Ergo Proxy,Haibane Renmei(one of fav.,Gilgamesh relly morbid,Noein (closest to Lain great anime),

Hello there! :D I am a very big fan of Escaflowne. The animation is amazing, the characters are interesting, very cool music soundtrack, a great story... I think it's at least worth checking out. ;D
