Lishifu @hakutaku Muslims there own many restaurants selling different noodles and dishes. Non-muslims are also welcomed. Xining is far more religious than other places here, I saw so many muslims and lamas. I also walked into a shopping mall where most customers are muslims unconsciously..

Lishifu @hakutaku Yeah, Hui mosque. Some other lesser known god-fearing ethnic groups don't mind such mosques . Interestingly enough, I saw a catholic church was built in front of a daoist temple. People of different faiths get along.

Ghost @kuharido Oh, sounds like a fun place. Must be lots of tasty nomz. I wonder if they have some cooking like you would see in Iran or Afghanistan. Yes, sometimes different faiths can get along. I have wavering belief that people can ultimately put aside their differences. I hope they will though. I wonder if Hui practice martial arts in the Mosque or if they have a training center for that. Hui martial arts is very famous. Even though there isn't much here in the US about their styles there's still a lot of curiosity.
