Lamby @momoichi all memes aside, i dont see the 1000 as such a meme. alaska does it with there oil, why cant we do it with tech? plus poor people are terrible with money, so theyr 100% going to put it back into the economy, unlike the rich, who know how to save money. its reverse trickle down economics and i love it

Ghost @kuharido Yeah, he talks about this. The idea is "trickle up economics" ideally people will use it for food, gas, bills, etc. Also as a way to go back to skool so we have a more skilled labor force. With machines, we don't have to view it as a bad thing since it will take on jobs people would rather not do. The UBI would provide support in making a more skilled middle class.

Lamby @momoichi im curious, how does him wanting to implement a UBI work with social programs? would he be allocating some of that budget to other things because of the 1000 dollar thing?

Ghost @kuharido From what I remember the social programs people already have is stacked with the UBI. His site has a lot more details. It's got more than UBI. It's a unique idea for human based capitalism.

Lamby @momoichi ah, good. yeah his slogan "humanity first" is really iconic xD. capitalism is a necessary evil, that simply needs to be checked. our current system is an unchecked capitalism. im not gonna research him in my free time cause theres no way hes going very far this election cycle. hes gotta keep building his name and his ideas in the mean time.
