My hometown’s mooncakes look like them XD.I believe they are ordinary pancakes stuffed with sugar and sesame ;).Yeah,the Chinese also have a lonely goddess depicted with a white rabbit ,her name is Chang’e/嫦娥.It is said that she stole and ate the elixirs,then became the goddess of moon who lived on the moon alone.But in earliest versions of that tale,she became a goddess and toad XD. Thank you,I didn’t know the moon goddess also had a rabbit in ancient Maya.
