Definitely! Do you know how weird it is to think of your bf as a son? And how its creepy to be sleeping with said son? Sure the guy can be who he is, but he can't be too dependent on me. He has to be mature enough to know he's not a teenager anymore and show at least some adult behavior. I don't care if he thinks I'm motherly, their are somethings I can't do and can do for him. But, I never think of a guy as a son, until he comes back after our intimate relationship has ended and starts asking me for advice. But, during a intimate relationship I prefer him to not depend on me like a son. So I guess I'd tell him to man/grow up once in awhile if he's too dependent on me. That probably would be the most times I would assert myself as a partner not a caretaker.

Pretty much, but I've babysat/watched kids since I was seven. So being "mom" to kids and my friends has always been normal for me. I can't remember a day in my life I haven't been there to support or scold a friend who was in trouble or did something bad. Besides being a Mistress, I can be like a second mother to others. I might not know everything, but I can help. Even strangers think I'm a mother when I'm near children. It's funny having old ladies asking me to watch my children at the mud drags, when a neglectful parent lets them wander onto the track. XD

I really just want my bf to express himself the way he wants, but remembers I'm still on top. That's kind of how my ex-bf's got scared of me, because I tame ukes threw letting them do what they want and only stepping in when necessary. Kind of a sneaky way of doing it, but I also think its funny watching a guy panic when they realize their the "girl" when they intended on taming me. After that though I ask them if they are okay with it, and mostly they are still freaked out so I normally tell them we can still be friends if they don't think an intimate relationship with me is what they really want. Not only dose it freak them more out that I'm willing to still care for them and not throw a hissy fit like most girls, but it gives them a chance to decide if they really like being submissive. A few of my ex-bf's who moved to the city have called me and thanked me, because they found a female partner that they love & she is dominate and are comfortable with it. Mostly because they can come and openly ask questions to a Mistress, rather guess at what one would be thinking. Being their first Mistress though, is both a rewarding and lonely thing. It's like being a single mother, eventually the kids grow up and move away, but you get the odd visit or call if they need anything.

It's okay dear. Lots of guys who have tried to pick me up had that problem. But, soon they find themselves becoming the submissive one. Normally I ask if they are okay with having a dominate girlfriend, but they chicken out later because they want to put on a front for their friends. I don't know why, it's not like their going to start wearing skirts & pink nail polish and start talking about shoes, if their girlfriend is the dominate one.

I agree, but you also need to know the limits of that discipline. We have to remember human beings are not dogs, we can speak and understand the other. Therefor we should know our mate's limits and respect them. If violence or yelling has to be the only means of communication between mates, then they should look else where for love. But, you still need to assert your dominance within the relationship, since every couple or group needs a leading man (or woman). Though even a leader needs to be able to comprise with the rest.
