Have you heard the Vocaloid song Canterella and there is a manga called that too well Canterella is an arsenic and that gave me the idea. Frist I was going to call my male vampire that but it sounded to feminine so I looked for a new name for him.

yeah that's true. And well It started when I was 9 just watching Sailor Moon and DBZ and Ghibli movies. None of which I knew were Japanese at the time but I knew they were differnt, then I got into more and more series and my for for taht has never faultered.

I disliked the extreme variation of the plot in the first series. I feel like that's why it was abandoned. They sort of captured Alucard...Wrong? I do love the Ultimate series though. It's very close to the manga.
