A pile of empty shells, an old dead tree, a boat stuck in the mud. A shabby conman, a petty villain.
Well, those things sound more interesting, to be sure. In reality, I suppose I'm a very average man, with very average interests, and a very average job. If you were to ask me, I'd say I'm not particularly extraordinary, whatever people might say about me. But I can at least admit that I'm unlike anyone else you're likely to meet. Ah, that would make that first part a lie, wouldn't it? Well, if you were to take my perspective as an objective statement, then it surely would be.
You know, I really don't like writing these things? I don't think there's anything more vain than talking about oneself, particularly describing oneself in an itemized fashion. Firstly, being already familiar with myself, myself is a fairly worn subject to me, long past being a topical discussion. Second, I feel that if the depth of your character can be briefly summarized in a few short paragraphs, I have to wonder what you've been doing with your life, and worry for your future. Certainly, I hope not to become such a weak caricature of a personality myself.
Let's just skip to the more important details, then. First, if you absolutely hate firearms, you absolutely will not like me. My own opinion of you isn't a factor at that point, so let's just get that out of the way. They are both a passion and a profession for me.
Second, while I'm not one of those types to hate on every Dub (in fact there are several that I prefer), I will not be able to get along with someone who can't watch Subs at all. I'm going to have to ask that you are at least willing to meet me halfway. This is mainly because dubs render several very good anime completely unwatchable, and more pressingly, my favorite anime of all time, the Monogatari series, not only has no dub, but the writing simply would never translate well into a dub in the first place. And if we can't watch our favorite shows together, then what are we even doing?
Third, and I suppose this will be enough to wrap this segment up, I'm not interested in someone who can't deal with humor. I go to a lot of trouble to try and liven up this dreary existence, and really I'm not able to even treat serious subjects with total seriousness. If I can't make a joke about it, it's probably not worth talking about. My favorite brand of humor is dark and cynical. Specifically, memes that fit those categories. Meming is a pretty significant pastime for me, and you're sure to hear me reference quite a few of them IRL. Bonus points if you have a good sense of humor yourself of course, but at the very least I ask that you be able to put up with one.
My hobbies/interests include mathematics, economics, military history and theory, firearms, cooking (asian food is my favorite), memes, videogames to a lesser extent, hiking/camping, and various other things that just aren't coming to mind at the moment.
Really, the best and easiest way to learn more about me, is just to ask me directly. It's a lot easier for me to tell you about myself when I know which parts specifically you want to hear about. Are there any other details I should add to this? Any feedback I get will help me to improve this eclectic biography.
