I think the theory behind this is, is that when we either make decisions in our life and its effects the outcomes around us, the first we immediately say is "I didn't predict that!" but I'm here and I'm on the offense to say yes you did.

Well to be honest with you, everyone's entitled to their opinions in life and as me for I respect that, but I think what I'm trying to get at is, let's take another more extreme example: "You get into a car crash and you total your car". Did you perdict subconsciously that car crash?

But I think you're missing the point Rena. I think when people choose to push themselves; in example Joe's case scenario; he never said "I want to have no time for anything else but schoolwork and sleep". I don't think anyone ever says that to themselves. I think what the more important question is, do we subconsciously say to ourselves, I want to experience that of which I don't desire?

Yes and in a way it can become dangerous, but that is based from person to person. But the more important thing here is, did Joe for lack of a better name say to himself, "I want to have no time to spend with my family and friends"?

Alrighty then, where to begin? Let's take a standard college student and we will call his name "Joe". Joe is an engineering student who has absolutely NO TIME on his hands. He takes 18 credits and is always exhausted by the schoolwork. He rarely has time to hang out with his friends and family. He is constantly run down and is always looking for a breather. Let me start by saying thats is it a fair argument Joe in these words, chose his own; we shall call it for a lack of a better word: 'fate'; by his own thoughts, which led him to where he is now?

Ms. Rena, you have me on the verge of going into a philosphical conversation / debate on why college students feel so trapped and never have time for themselves.

I graduated college a couple of years ago. I got my bachelor's in graphic design & new media and I also have my associates in Game Development. I know how it is when you're in college. You're completely swamped with everything and feel run-down when you have free time.

Then that would immediately take priority over anything else. I keep thinking everyone has mass amounts of free time to spare XD
