Actually there is a whole community of non-japanese shamisen players on youtube, like Kevin Kmetz, Mike Penny and Kyle Abbott, should check them out they're each unique. Mike Penny is a musical genius. Kevin Kmetz is a semi famous half Japanese player who has his own band called God of Shamisen, and Kyle Abbott is about my age and has built his own shamisens etc. maybe check em out.

Yeah, my shamisen was damaged so I had to get rid of it :P I also would like to get a new turntable, I'd love to be a DJ, that'd be a fun life lol
