Technically the one in the picture is my only cat, but my family has two others and three dogs. We have a very full house. I've only see two Jack Russells in the past 6 weeks. One of them was being put down.

Oh jeez, I posted on my page too. XD Mind you, I'm only an intern, but I love my job. I can't wait until I have a full-time job taking care of animals.

lol I wish. That would be the best job ever. I'm actually part of the veterinary medical field. I mostly make sure the animals are recovering okay from surgery, ready equipment for surgery, hold animals for my coworkers, and run basic diagnostic tests. In a nutshell though, I found the heart rate monitor to be stress inducing. In surgery, tachycardia usually means the anesthesia is too light and the animal is starting to wake up and feel pain from the manipulation from the surgeon, which needs to immediately corrected by increasing the gas.
