I agree. I am not a huge sci-fi fan. But I liked Firefly. It didn't feel all that sci-fi to me. Same with Doctor Who. For me though...I must say DW is MY favorite sci-fi series ever. It is a good mix of horror, sci-fi, emotion, and personality.

Firefly is pretty good. Just watched it a few weeks ago. Its not my all time favorite show but I really like the character driven nature of it. So I hope you continue to enjoy it.

After all this time I'm finally watching Firefly. I'll admit, it's a good show. But I still don't understand why people are saying it's such an amazing show.

Oh my, you must watch it! I think you would enjoy it very much. There are lots and lots of plot twists, and yes, there is the story of the headless horseman. At first, when it came out, my friend told me to have a look since it's the same creators of Baccano! I found the first 10 episodes, especially the very first one, were slow, but its essential since they give you a bit of background details of the characters and how they tie into each other's lives. I really do recommend it though. It's amazing. c:
