daggera
Daggera @daggera I am a fan of the Vincent Price movies. Not a whole lot of actors who can act like that.

Deleted User @__removed_2febdcff2cGILeMdar Yeah hes great. One last great film i can reccomend is "The Lost Weekend" its about alcholism and its one of 2 films to ever get first place at the cannes film festival, and to win an oscar.
daggera
Daggera @daggera I am not sure if I seen that yet but I will have to watch it regardless. Thanks for the recommendation. Movies really lost some of that dark creepy edge they use to have. They use to be full of mysteries and profond dark lore. Now it's sex, blood, and gore, which is still okay but miss some of the gothic element of that time period.

Yeah, you could maybe ask. I'm still learning more and more. Anyways, I'm off to bed. See ya! http://izquotes.com/quotes-pictures/quote-the-reason-good-women-like-me-and-flock-to-my-pictures-is-that-there-is-a-little-bit-of-vampire-theda-bara-11637.jpg

Yeah, she really played the femme fatale really well. Was as popular as Charlie Chaplin at her peak. Hopefully there are a couple of her films still out there. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/3d/a4/90/3da49026c5c25a0329fbe893a01739ee.jpg

Theda Bara worked almost exclusively for Fox Studios. So when there was a vault fire in 1937 in the studios' vaults most of her films were lost. Only 5 out of her more than 40 films still exist. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ColtN63WgAA0ngM.jpg

Those two films I listed by David lean were showing in black and white at one point, when they were showing on TV, but they also had some theater releases where they were in black and white cuz not every Theatres could afford a color set up
