Yeah, she really played the femme fatale really well.
Was as popular as Charlie Chaplin at her peak.
Hopefully there are a couple of her films still out there.

Theda Bara worked almost exclusively for Fox Studios.
So when there was a vault fire in 1937 in the studios' vaults most of her films were lost.
Only 5 out of her more than 40 films still exist.

Those two films I listed by David lean were showing in black and white at one point, when they were showing on TV, but they also had some theater releases where they were in black and white cuz not every Theatres could afford a color set up

Black and white movies can be great. I've watched a couple.
Recently also watched the Charlie Chaplin movie City Lights.
Really great. Just wish more Theda Bara movies had survived.
