I am super weird and unapologetically in your face about it. I can only be myself, and nothing else.
I am an artist at heart. Writing and drawing used to be my life. In college I did a semester studying Art History in Florence, if that's worth anything. Down the road I realized that if I didn't do something about my spiritual and emotional health I was going to die young, broke, and insane, so I directed my career focus to my martial arts, which is a HUGE part of my life.
The way I see it; with martial arts our bodies are our brushes, the world; our canvas, and through our lives with movement and feeling we paint portraits. I still believe I'm going to write a series of novels someday, but I'd really like to finish this chapter first
I'm also one of the biggest nerds you'll ever meet - LOTR, Game of Thrones, Video Games, Chess, Comics, Anime, all that good stuff :)
I am a proud Pagan, and while I will scream for Wodin before battle, my life views are fundamentally Daoist; which is like cosmic paganism really
I am typically very upbeat and friendly and I try to live by example, but at the same time I can have a very dark sense of humor. Example:
At work my nickname is "Dr. Trevorkian" (my name is Trevor btw) after Jack Kervorkian (a pioneer for the rights to euthanasia) which is perfect because while I love helping people, I also love the idea of helping people die.
