Yea the manga has been a Hiatus for a long time, and the 2009 is a reboot since the older one stopped because it caught up with the manga. It should be called Hiatus X Hiatus

... YES I love HnterXHunter, angry that it has been on Hiatus (too many time ugh) which will doom the anime since it is almost catching up. But I do enjoy reading it, its very very dark in the manga
