It about a renowned hero's dark side named Feld. At first, Feld is hell-bent on fighting against the hero to uphold his destiny as the dark side, but soon decides to stop and break the Chains of the Realm the hold the Laws of the Realm together so that he will no longer be the dark side, but instead just a regular human. Together with an undead mage girl, a drunken mercenary, a golem, a living mage girl, and a thief girl, Feld fights against his light side to foolishly break the chains and aid a power-hungry archbishop who wishes to become the next god of the world but instead becomes nothing more than a devil.
