Yeah, the Romance of the Three Kingdoms is considered the most influential work of East Asia, though I think Journey to the West has had some influence on anime like Dragon Ball. Water Margin I heard was also influential on Japanese literature in particular, but I'm not exactly a book worm so I don't know too much about it.
I just saw the quotes attributed to Confucius and thought they were quite reasonable, I do not exactly have a source for them. It may seem basic, but I think the most memorable concept was that one needs to understand themselves along with their opponent to ever hope for victory. It is important to understand one's limitations before anything, but also to carefully consider the capabilities of the other. It also puts forth the idea of keeping a cool head so that emotion or arrogance do not affect one's analysis of a situation. You seem much better read in the classics than I, I'm not much of a reader or philosopher myself.

Do you ever have people spill all their feelings to you.

Lishifu @hakutaku Occasionally? I tend to ignore people and give off cold vibes, so people usually don't spill their feelings to me, even if they do it, I might ignore, tasks at hand are my priorities.
Ghost @kuharido It happens to me. It's not so bad but it can be overwhelming.
Lishifu @hakutaku Nobody wants to be a rubbish bin of negative emotions. Give and take matter.
Ghost @kuharido On one hand, yes but it's in my nature to listen.
Lishifu @hakutaku what if a person vents to you on a daily basis. They are always unhappy with everything and complain.
Ghost @kuharido I've known those types I avoid them until they move on. |ω・)I am better at telling them to 'go away' tactfully these days too.
Lishifu @hakutaku You are worried that you would hurt their feelings by telling them to go away tactfully? They are hella sensitive, and overthink.
Ghost @kuharido I'm sensitive and over think too. (⁎˃ᆺ˂)
Lishifu @hakutaku I used to overthink and overanalyze XD. Now, I hardly overthink and overanalyze.
You are sensitive so you can feel how upset they are~~
Ghost @kuharido It can be useful for connecting with people.
Lishifu @hakutaku True! Once I have free time, I’d like to do more experiments on interpersonal relationships ;).

I haven't read too deeply in the Chinese Classics, only the Art of War at the moment. I am considering Water Margin and Romance of the Three Kingdoms too. It's good to respect the Chinese classics, they have a lot of influence on Anime.
