Lishifu @hakutaku Islam shares more similiarities and historical origins with Judaism than Christianity? I heard muslims didn't treat Jews as badly as Christians, though Jews were also not liked in Islamic states for obvious reasons (Both Christians and Jews don't believe Mohammed is the last prophet).

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper Hmmm it is a bit complicated unfortunately. The Quran says to respect the people of the book, which referred to Jews, but it is also to my understanding that there are other provisions in the Quran that nullify that and thus why today there is conflict with the Islamic states and the Jews. Of course that is only some people who think that way. I have had plenty of Muslim friends over the years and they held great respect for me because I was Jewish and I respected them too. But you are right with them not liking Christians since they speak of how they will not forget about the Crusades lead by the Catholic church so many centuries ago.

Lishifu @hakutaku I remember I read a few chapters about that topic, but my memory is blurry(I don't remember the details), so I just wrote what I remember in the previous comment.

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper A lot of people seem to say something different about what happened historically. So do not worry about if you can remember it properly. I would say chances are, that we may not even know the correct course of events at this rate.
