Yeh. It's a bit special. And you could view it even more retarted as the lion is balancing itself on top of sword. So one is through the head already and another one is just an accident waiting to happen. ^^ Oh and an extra thing. My regions emblem is only the tail fin of a fish in water. So yeah. What great inspiring symbolism we have there too. Heh.

https://static.zerochan.net/Uchuu.Yorimo.Tooi.Basho.full.2248964.jpg Are you interested in traveling to other countries? Or even living in one of them?
hakutaku
Lishifu @hakutaku Yeah.I'm actually a traveller :D.I'm always ready to travel, though it can be exhausting. How about you?
whispywoods
Whisp @whispywoods Uhh, I'm fine finding and staying in one comfortable place to live. Traveling drains my energy too much. (; ̄д ̄)But the typical weeb dream of going to Japan is tempting though.
hakutaku
Lishifu @hakutaku How much time does it take you to get to Tierra del Fuego (by air or by train)?
whispywoods
Whisp @whispywoods I haven't been there, but from where I am, I estimate 1 hour by plane to the closest city, then maybe 3 to 5 hours driving. I'm close to some pretty places actually.
hakutaku
Lishifu @hakutaku (/ ̄(エ) ̄)/Is it convenient for you to travel to that place? I mean it belongs to two countries... Names of those pretty places please. Travelling to Japan ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ...Yeah...It is a dream of weeaboos'...Nope..to weeaboos, living in Japan or marrying a Japanese wife is their dreamʕ•̫͡•ʔ♬✧. It takes me three hours to get to Tokyo by air ʕ•̫͡•ིʔྀ.
hakutaku
Lishifu @hakutaku How many hours does it take you to get to Japan? How many days are you allowed to stay at best?
whispywoods
Whisp @whispywoods About Japan, I have no idea how long it would take. I live in the other side of the world, so I only assume is a lot. I would be happy just visiting, but I think I need some motivation to commit. Like going with a friend or something.
whispywoods
Whisp @whispywoods I wouldn't complain if a cute japanese idol wearing a maid dressed and cat ears appears and wants to marry me though. (⌐■_■)

True. I'll be regarded to be a leftover woman when my age is 28, or rather 30 <lunar calendar>.I'll gain more freedom then because most people will think I'm worthless<they will stop interfering in my life by nagging..>."One implication of the disproportionate migration of women is that the women stigmatized as “leftovers” are often “well-educated urban women with ambition and promising careers.”....I'd like to punch them...₍₍ ◝(・ω・)◟ ⁾⁾We are rebels! We should be rebels. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/living-single/201804/china-s-leftover-women-and-shake-and-bake-husbands
gundamu
正義の味方 @gundamu Pretty interesting article, I've read about "leftover women" before. But all of these other terms like "golden turtles", "shake-and-bake husbands" and "comrade wives" is pretty new to me. I also didn't know that being a single parent is basically illegal in most provinces in China either. Though I don't belong to that culture so I don't really feel like it's my place criticize but...That's a pretty oppressive atmosphere for individualistic women who want to follow their ambitions.
hakutaku
Lishifu @hakutaku The atmosphere is truly oppressive...As far as I have observed, the major worth of a woman is her fertility in the minds of the masses. An interesting phenomenon: in a family if the husband is infertile, they will consider adopting a kid; but if the wife is infertile, they divorce. Also, tons of overprotective parents have no idea of boundaries, they enjoy interfering with kids' business like career, partner, the number of kids and so on..In society where Confucianism plays an important role, guys prefer women who are weaker than them in most aspects. Offspring are always more important than the wife. Comrade wives are poor...If only Chinese parents stopping urging their kids to get married...All these phenomena arise from the fact that agriculture>industry.. Sighs...In other developing countries like Vietnam in Asia, the atomsphere must be oppressive too.
hakutaku
Lishifu @hakutaku It is quite easy to deal with the policies made by the government...but fighting against the traditional society is way too difficult...
gundamu
正義の味方 @gundamu Ah, I see. It would definitely be very hard to try and go against such deeply ingrained traditions.
