I don't think you should be misanthropic just because people have weakness. No-one knows everything and will have things they do wrong, everyone has their own focus in life and their own interests, so they wont always know about your ideas of strength or weakness and might not agree with them. That doesn't have to come from weakness, rather they just may not have discovered or understood your ideas before. Maybe it's even your ideas of strength and weakness that are mistaken, so it's always worth keeping an open mind about that. I think it's better to be forgiving of the mistakes people make. Sure, people are all making mistakes, but so are you and so am I. I think it's better to focus instead on what they are doing better, what they are improving about themselves. (that's not to say you should tolerate people who are malicious, but plenty of people do things that you or I might dislike being around without actually having any malice behind it)
