Np :) Wow I take a few weeks off from this site and my page blows up! I can't wait until Scarborough Faire and A-Kon roll around then you guys will REALLY get to see me in action.

KO 3an Guo is pretty funny, LOL. The entire series is, actually, although I haven't been able to watch the fourth installment yet. I have pictures of the jacket, although I need to get some better pictures... I designed my jacket off of the character Cao Cao, with the gold braid, black cuffs and silver buttons. I'd love to see your Kaito cosplay! And yeah, breaking needles isn't really all that fun. XD Besides, you have to get a new needle every time it happens, so it's a bit of a hassle too.

Hahaha XD "Sew holes in clothing"... I remember being at that stage. Of course, now my big problem is that I keep sewing holes into me (particularly when working with leather. Note to Self: Needles hurt.) Thanks. ^^ I don't have a machine that I can use right now, although I do have a fold-in sewing desk with a machine attached. It's pretty nifty, but I haven't had the time to try it out, what with classes and all. I do most of my sewing by hand these days, which, as I noted above, can often result in a lot of pain for the fingertips. I once broke a needle in half while working on some leather cuffs. It hurt a good bit, but in the end I got a completed jacket from "KO 3an Guo" that doesn't look half-bad (for hand-stitching). Your new avatar looks awesome, by the way!

Agreed! I'm not among the pros when it comes to sewing, but I can do some mighty fine alterations (she said with a very humble tone... >,>). In fact, a friend of mine is sending me her old wedding dress soon so I can rip it up and turn it into a steampunk tea dress. I'm so excited! Do you know how to embroider or crochet? I find both to be very enjoyable, and they don't require a machine to do, which makes them the perfect project to carry around and work on whenever and wherever I happen to be.

Those cosplays would be a lot of fun to make! I'll bet they'll look awesome. Seriously? Women look at you weird in the fabric store? If I saw a guy in my local fabric store picking out materials and things, I'd probably flip out and immediately introduce myself. It's not often one meets a guy who's willing to pick up a needle and thread and get crafty (at least not in my area). Besides, gender stereotypes are boring. >,<

Hallo .. =)

I wish I could do that! I took out a loan, though, so if I stop going to school I have to pay it all back... And if I'm having to pay rent and living expenses as well, that's very unlikely to work out well for me, LOL. You're a smart person if you've avoided all the student loan debts... Kaito Imitation Black would be a cool cosplay to do! I had plans to do the Taito cosplay, but I was never able to get the materials needed to finish it. I'll just say it's on my bucket list now, haha. The others sound equally fun! I'm planning to make a new cosplay soon; I just need to decide what to do. As I mentioned before, I'm not exactly caught up with all the popular anime, so I need to keep poking around until I find a character I like. I might even try to make myself a female cosplay this time, LOL.

Nah, you're okay, haha! I have friends who type way worse. One of them thought the word "awesome" was spelled "alsume". I don't know how that happened. My first con was Ikkicon, and that was where I cosplayed Hiei. It was the only condition my friend set for me to go with her -- I had to be the Hiei to her Kurama. Fair enough, I guess. I'd never seen the show, but I was able to build the costume and my friend discovered that all she had to do to keep me in character was deprive me of coffee every morning, LOL. Oh, and if you'd like to see how the costume looked, I can upload a pic to my gallery. I should probably do that anyway, even though the cosplay itself was four years ago. What was your first cosplay? ^^ From what I've seen, cosplay is expensive whether one buys it or makes it oneself; I simply get more satisfaction when I finish a cosplay myself. It's also less money spent, technically, although one does end up paying it back with time. How was the move between states? I'm planning to move from Texas to Indiana, but I'm still trying to juggle my schoolwork and avoid the out-of-state fee when I transfer to the university up there. I'm thinking I could get an Indiana ID and just stay in Texas until my residency switches states, but it's still a bit of a headache...
