I look at the list for upcoming new anime if the summary or animation caughts my attention I'll watch it also by recommendations but it tends to be alot of things I watch sometimes I have more that 12 hra worth of anime for the day

Trigun a classic of course I have. I saw the first few episodes of grenadier but have yet to finish it it fell of my radar and haven't pick it up :(
