i have pretty much just my old high-school buddies too. most of them dont do anime mostly because i only have like 5.... my youngest buddy is your age and he speaks some legit Japanese because he is taking the course at Weber state right now. he is actually doing a home stay in japan right now. he may an idiot but damn if they dont think he is the coolest thing on the planet! i did not go to the same school as him but we are still on pretty good terms. im not going to school right now partially because i already have a certificate in something and i have a job.

to be honest you are pretty much the only local person i can find on here so i have a question or two about the local anime activities. i go to the conventions that i am able but i dont know of any other public gatherings that revolve around anime. i would like to be more social and make more like-minded acquaintances so if you know of a group or something in the area. please let me know.
