Just starting my PhD at University of Miami, Florida. Long time anime encoder obsessed about quality. Desperately wants to learn Japanese without putting in a shred of effort. Vegetarian.

Personality wise I'm pretty outgoing and if you get me on a subject I enjoy, I can go on for quite a bit. I like cuddles and snuggling into a blanket when I watch an anime or read a book. I'm also a sucker for sad stories. I've traveled a lot in my childhood and seen some pretty messed up shit, and now i'm probably a comforting shoulder to cry on if you need emotional support.

I got into anime and manga in highschool and it snowballed from there. Lightnovels, webnovels and Visual Novels, I started consuming literally every form of Japanese media. Right now I'm tired of most shounens and am into psychological thriller types (Denpa). Anime's that I've liked recently are Mawaru Penguindrum and Paranoia Agent. My favorite anime's are Samurai X - Trust and Betrayal OVA, Steins;Gate, Madoka Magica and Fate/Zero. Clannad the After Story and Anohana get honorable mentions for the manly tears shed in their honor.

I spent a lot of my childhood watching anime that I didn't know were anime at the time like Yugioh, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist (Original over brotherhood, fight me)

Characters Im in love with at the moment are Michiru (Grisaia) and Tanya (Youjo Senki)

Visual Novels that have impacted me a lot lately are Saya no Uta, Subahibi, Grisaia No Kaijutsu, Narcissu, I/O, ef~, Fate/Stay Night, Umineko, Ever17 and Danganronpa. Also obligatory Nekopara mention. (Way too long for a favorites list, but what can you do?)

Games I play include Dota 2, Blazblue and Hyper Dimension Neptunia. Also Skyrim. Having basically cleared all of Skyrim I lept into the black hole known as modding. You probably cant even call what I play Skyrim anymore tbh.

Other hobbies include anime encoding and memeing.

While I do go out with friends at times, I am finding myself less and less interested in the stuff they do. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make friends with similar interests to my own which was one of the reasons I made an account here.
