Dang, that sounds idyllic. How difficult was it to learn the language? I assume it'd be easier as long as you're hearing it everyday and have to utilize it on a daily basis. Practice makes perfect. I actually know a 2nd language as well, but the younger generation are starting to lose the ability to speak it. As such, I find myself at times forgetting certain phrases. Has that happened to you since you left?

That's quite a long time. What was it like acclimating to a new culture? I've always wondered this b/c I'm Asian in a Caucasian dominant country. So, if I ever visit an Asian country, it would feel weird for me to be part of the dominant group.

Eh, I was just going w/ the flow of my thoughts. Hot spring -> no go -> tattoos? cuz tattoo in hot springs in japan are a negative thing... ANYHOW, how long did you live in Tokyo for, are you part of the military?

I have read your profile, so I have some to ask you. "Where did you live in Japan?"... and... did you ever get into a hot sprint/bathing house?
