Yes. Yes it is. Also rurouni kenshin was done partly by takeshi obata, the guy who drew death note. :D

I know what you mean. XD though if I had to, its a toss up between rurouni kenshin and trigun. Both of em have the same kind of hero, a nice guy with a chekered past who wanders searching for love protecting everyone. They both have enemies from their pasts that threaten the fate of the world and hsve both lost someone dear to them. They both used to be assassins. They both wear red. XD
