Okay, to be honest, I've only read the manga but it's probably the best one I've ever read. I love that about the story though, they way it's hard to pick who's side you're on until the very end. There really isn't a clear 'good guy'. Light is obviously the main character, but he's not really the hero. Even though it's a manga, it really makes you think about what justice really is.
