I get why it would be good to have "regeneration" period. But, also if you're used to that then it might be odd if you all of the sudden wouldn't have that break anymore? Hehe I'm not working while studying. For me it wouldn't be to good, since I want to completely focus on going to shcool, hehe ^u^ Though, most of people in my class do work at the same time.

Well a way to subvert that is to have a character split dialogues to make actions in between, if you must have short dialogue that is. For example, an adventurous fight scene might be: "You might be brave," the hero taunted, "But do you have the strength to back it up?" But I tend to have exposition in bursts, so dialogue does get long.

Starting off in writing is never perfect, I often go through and change stuff, and that's normal. But that last part is correct. You don't go to the gym without a workout plan, yeah? Common sense~
