These last few chapters have been on Mashiba but it really hits home just how those discriminating eyes can lead someone down a dark path. NO ONE Mashiba works with for the longest sees him as anything other than a criminal in spite of him just working for a living. He tries to work honestly and he's the first one blamed when anything goes wrong then he gets a reputation for it and it becomes a cycle. But he doesn't lie down and take it. He gets up and fights. And he got there to being the champ from effort surpassing circumstance.

Baka @reinhardt76 IM SO GLAD YOU’RE BACK, I have no one who looks deep into this manga let alone acknowledges it exist. I’m so glad Mashiba is getting more character development... I hate how it somewhat lured me into hating him from the get go, but once the first real scene with kumi came up ya kinda get to know he’s not honestly rotten.

BurningHalo @burninghalo YES! It's sooo easy to think of him as this violent thug then you see his circumstances, him having to look after his sister, putting up with how he's seen and his opponents taking advantage fo all of this and you just want to see him tear shit apart!

Baka @reinhardt76 I’m glad he had the manager being kind to him from the get go, or at least when you see him working. I enjoy how they have his past AS his past for the most part. They let you know how he is and how hard he has had it without shoving flash backs down your throat (one piece)

BurningHalo @burninghalo Well yeah. Mashiba has always had people see him as this intimidating criminal man and now he has his sister, his boss, the crowd, and even Ippo to an extent supporting him. But he's still seeing those bits of his past coming for him. So even though he does have more people supporting him, the only person he actually trusts is his sister. And maybe Ippo to a degree <w<

BurningHalo @burninghalo Ryuuhei, and yeah, Mashiba was PISSED. I savored that fight. Mashiba ended this man's whole career

I've never heard of Grandia. Breath of Fire 3 is the one I first played, and it's my favorite in the series. The different dragons you can produce by mixing different genes gives it greater versatility than 2 and 4 in my opinion. I've not played 1, so I can't make any comparison there.
