In my opinion anyone can be taught to sing reasonably well. Of course, some people have a natural aptitude and talent and they'll reach a way higher level than us mere mortals. (｡-∀-) I can sing surprisingly high for a guy. Still have a long way to go. The awesome thing is that no two voices are exactly the same. I love that about music. It's a pleasure! It's surprising how many great music tutorials there are on Youtube. A good place to start for singing is Janice Yap's channel, in my opinion.
