I'm a late bloomer. I love classic books, music, movies and TV: my idea of fun is going on Youtube and listening to classic music! My favorite journey is to London, England. (If I could be anywhere in the world just now, I'd be in the National Gallery in the section with the 18th-century paintings.) If I won the lottery, I'd go on a world cruise.
I still don't have big ambitions in life, but I'm open to new things. I have a talent for writing and editing. My biggest achievement so far is making friends--that may not seem much, but I was a slow starter in that area.
I like karaoke, classical music, opera, folk, any music that's old. I also like classic movies and anime and documentaries. And I like reading history and poetry and comics and fables. (Children's stories and comic books appeal to me, even at my age! My most esteemed possession is my comics collection.) My favorite book is anything by Mark Twain! I've learned several foreign languages to some extent, but none to the point of fluency. I like gardening in my back yard. . And I like doing puzzles--I can even do cryptic crosswords sometimes! And walking is one of my favorite activities.
My favorite meal's spaghetti. I'm good at cooking fettucine alfredo and baking gingerbread. I used to bake bread a lot, and I'm going to get into that again.
I'm politically conscious. There are a lot of things in the world that make me angry. (With Donald Trump, however, I've gone beyond anger...) I believe in justice, though in practice I'm skeptical about realizing it. My hero of the moment is Greta Thunberg. (I'm a geek too!) Other heroes of mine are Bernie Sanders, Jeremy Corbyn and Jagmeet Singh. I secretly want to be a crusader like them.
I've been told I'm a gentleman, and I definitely have a sense of humour. On a perfect Sunday, I'd go on a date with YOU!
