I'm sorry I asked so many questions to make you write so much! But I really enjoyed reading it! You seem so much more interesting than me! XD When I was in high school I was the only one that actually wanted to play the marimba! Most professionals play the marimba with four mallets, which opens up so many possibilities. Like with the guitar and piano, you can play the melody and harmony at the same time. There is also a deep resonance to it that I can't really describe which makes it so unique and versatile. You can play everything from a hypnotic minimalist piece to a furious Japanese piece or a slow haunting chorale. One of the pieces I've played is called Rhythm Song, by Paul Smadbeck, if you wanted to look it up; it isn't terribly difficult to play, but I think it exemplifies why I like marimba so much. If you do watch it, just make sure you watch someone who can actually play it well because it's really easy to play badly. XD That's about the best I can do to describe why I like it in writing. :) I'm happy you keep yourself in shape! \(^^)/ I've never played badminton because no one at my university ever wants to play. :( It seems like fun though. That is so cool that you get to study abroad! I would really like to study under Keiko Abe, probably the best female marimba player in the world, but I don't know if she would even accept students from outside of Japan. I really am jealous of you! You'll have to take lots of pictures! I just really want to speak it correctly if I'm going to take the time to learn it. I would love to teach you Japanese! :P I've tried to teach my friends a few words and they always look at me like I'm crazy! I assume English isn't your first language? Which if that's the case, then I would say you're a language perfectionist because your English is better than most native speakers! XD My parents and friends have just accepted the fact that I like Japanese music. I have yet to get them to like it though. :3 I think it would be such a cool idea if they made a MMORPG like SAO, except without the whole "if you die in the game, then you die in real life" thing! I might try out MMORPGs again someday soon though. :) I really want to go to so many other countries! You make it sound so exciting. I've been to Puerto Rico, Mexico, the US Virgin Islands, and all over the United States. I want to go to Japan, China, Australia, and travel all over Europe. I doubt I'll ever get to do all that. XD Spain sounds beautiful, but if you missed so much of it I bet you party hard! :3 Your family is so diverse too! I'm purely English and you're Danish, Chinese, and Pinoy. \(^.^)/ That's incredible! I've always thought the Philippines would be interesting to visit, so now if I go I'll know to watch out for the nice scammers. XD I'm glad you got out, but how did you manage get in quicksand? I think the most exciting story I have from vacation is getting stuck overnight in Puerto Rico. XD I love talking to people from different cultures! You can learn so much and make so many interesting friends. If you ever come to the southern part of the United States, you should find me and I could be your tour guide! :D It's okay that you don't know what you want to do yet! I think Humanistic-technology is a great study, but programming and science is very cool too! Sorry, I think I wrote to long too! You're just too interesting! XD
