Oh a high regard of honor. That is very pagan like haha. That's unfortunate that the scriptures were victims of time and violence, but kinsmanship is something that I fully understand.

I've actually never heard of that. What are the main beliefs and teachings of your religion? Pagan religions have always interested me.

Is it deep? In our belief, the meaning of life is to create a new God because our current God is dying. Everything we do to another person, we do to ourselves. If we kill another person, we kill ourselves. If we love another person, we love ourselves. But, there needs to be a balance of good and evil. Because if it's all good, then good would become neutral, that means, everything can only be bad. And if things can only be bad, then bad would become neutral, meaning everything is considered good. Paradox. That's why a balance has to exist. Because in the end, when we return to the "Rift" we'll become one and become a new God. And the cycle continues.

In our family's version of Taoism, our God is dying, that is why life exists. God brought upon living things because He's dying and needs to create a new God. So he creates life, and the experiences that every organism goes through will return to, what I will call the "Rift," (just for simplicity sakes). When those experiences that are gathered by living things become enough, a new God would emerge, the Omnipotent. Only then, can our God die and pass on.

Both. I trust that the teachings of taoism and it's use of discretion is the one that I want to follow and I believe in an Omnipotent God. Although, that's not to say that an Omnipotent God has to stay Omnipotent forever
