I had some time this morning and didn't really want to start a new anime, so I started rewatching Irregular at Magic High School. The first few episodes are fantastic. I got a little burnt out on the series when I originally watched it. Soooo many cliffhangers! I couldn't stand waiting a full week for each episode. Maybe I won't have that problem this time.

Azuma, I would have responded on Maya's post on my wall about the iron content effect on seas and oceans, but I don't want to mess up your couple mojo, so here I am, haha! :D Iron does affect the color of sand. Is this beach you mentioned in Hawaii really red? That's nice! We have a couple of those pink beaches in the Philippines, too. What's interesting is that bioluminescent planktons (I also call them stars of the ocean, haha, because I'm cheesy) also seem to thrive in these types of beaches. They must really love the iron, haha! :D

azumakazuma @azumakazuma My island didn't have any red sand beaches, but there were some on other islands. Kauai is known for having red dirt throughout the island that can stain clothes. Maui has a red sand beach and some black sand beaches. They are really cool! Haha! That's right. They must have some reaction with iron.

Maya @maydragon Wasn't red mud good for growing plants?
