I've been watching anime since around the age of 18, with my first animes being Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online (could I get anymore basic?). Following this I fell into more of a rabbit hole and became hooked on isekai and alternative history style anime. I'm a history nerd, especially when it comes to historic vehicles of war so I'm always keen to watch new things that delve into those topics.
Anime aside, I also enjoy video games and when I'm not playing those, I'll typically be exploring more active pursuits.
I love going out and cycling, walking and running. Anything that allows me to delve into my more adventurous side and travel unexplored paths to see what I can find. I go to the gym pretty frequently too, which helps keep me in shape as I also enjoy eating perhaps a bit more than I should...
I'm also a big fan of airsoft, I really enjoy the high-intensity, adrenaline-pumping action of the sport which I got an interest in after I was turned down by the British Army because my eyesight could not meet the required standards
Professionally, I'm a software developer and I really enjoy the problem solving aspect of that.
A recent assessment I took at work indicated that I was quite an introverted type and that does reflect in my more cautious way of talking to people when I first meet them. I do warm up pretty quickly though! Doubly so with the help of a few drinks :D
Other things I do in my spare time is Dungeons and Dragons, which I both DM for and play and I also enjoy singing, with my favourite music genre being power metal (though I can vibe to almost anything).
