can't guarantee everyone has the same experience of course, but definitely if you look hard enough, you'll always find someone to relate to. From what you've said and you're list on here, it seems like you have pretty good taste. :-) watching anything right now?

Well the $1,000 was probably an exaggeration lol, but this is actually the first year I've gone with any money and one of the few years I've gone with friends. If you can get people together, it's awesome, but it can also be fun to just go meet new people who think like you (like an anime camp lol). I'm not sure if it's definitely a thing of the past yet, but I know that, before, if you volunteered at the con for 16 hours or more throughout (including day 0), they would give you a free pass to attend, and if you declared beforehand that you were gonna volunteer the whole time, they'd even put you up in a hotel. Honestly some of my fondest memories there are of those times. Since I wasn't particularly attached, I went to whatever panels I wanted and hung with whatever people I wanted for however long I wanted, and the random parties in the hotels were a very nice bonus. :-) kinda makes me miss my volunteer ppls. Anyways, ranting. What kinda anime do you like to watch?

tis awesome, right? Personally, I consider myself a level three otaku with a sub-class in eclectic gaming, but yes 80% of my life belongs to anime lol... I just purchased tix for AX, and i'm expecting to easily spend over $1000 this year @.@ I guess it's only fair that I give money to the cause at some point considering how much anime I watch for free. You go to many cons?
