Tim Burton is known for his stop motion movies like Nightmare Before Christmas or movies like Edward Scissorhands He's one of my favourite directors D:

Audio-senpai @charlie_swan Tim Burton is a director who started his career as an animator for Disney. There he produced a couple of short films which caught the attention of actor Paul Rubens who got him his first feature film job. He's very much one of those auteur directors with his own signature style that blends elements from gothic horror and German expressionism. He also has a list reoccurring motifs and a stable of actors he usually works with, most notably Johnny Depp and Helena Botham Carter whom he married. And that brings me to the question that started this all. I'm not quite sure if they are still married. I still need to look it up, but I vaguely recall hearing they got divorced or at least are separated.
