on the home screen press the orange smiling face (it's forth from the left on the home screen) if you made a mii it should show it with an orange background then go to it and there should be a 12 digit code which is your FC and to add me press the orange button with a "+" inside a small circle and a menu should pop up saying register friend click on internet and you can enter it
