Yeah I heard there's estimated to be millions of hikikomori in Japan which is supposed to cause a population and labor problem :/ Haha I'm just saying they borrow English words in ways that would be nonsensical to an English speaker. My parents told me alot of them :D I'm pretty sure guys would all agree with me on the fact that you're beautiful :P

Yes it seems to be mostly a phenomena in countries that puts a lot of pressure on individuals thus they withdraw socially and not from personal preference which is unfortunate. Haha I usually feel embarrassed when I hear it cause it's so... improperly used there :P Also, judging from the comments I'm pretty sure they'll all agree haha :)
