Well try taking baby steps into trying to cosplay again. Once again it's suppose to be a fun hobby and not worry if someone has a cosplay your doing that's better than yours. In the cosplay world there will always be someone with a better cosplay than yours and that is why you can always improve or just not give a damn. If you do have cosplays you want to do, just go for it whether you have the face for it or not. I don't have the skin tone for 99% percent of my cosplays and i could care less.I may not be into homestuck and i do have a few homestuck friend and i can say you did a pretty good Kankri. :)

I know that feeling. I am also a perfectionist and i have discarded cosplays for that reason. Normally the only time i don't care is when i'm finishing cosplay last minute so i'll cheat a little or leave things out,at the point i don't care because i kinda hate going to conventions with out cosplaying, My friends say wearing regular clothes but i do that everyday so i get the point i don't care if my cosplays are perfect or not. Well i'm kind of lying about that last part i'll probably discard it and won't wear it again afterward. Thank you for the complement even though that's just a few of my cosplays, i've deleted some or i won't show them. I'm not very photogenic when others take my picture.

Aww don't let thinking your not a good cosplayer get you down,it's all about having fun. I get nervous when i cosplay sometimes but if i normally try to focus on things to keep me from feeling that way. You have an awesome Captain Kurotsuchi cosplay. ^^ Oh I'm cosplaying as Lilith from Darkstalkers,Kuroha (Dark konoha) from MekakuCity Actors, Kanato Sakamaki from Diabolik Lovers and i will also be wearing lolita fashion.

I haven't been watching much anime lately but i am currently watching MekakuCity Actors,which i really love it is really confusing but it rather interesting once you start to understand. I'm also currently working on cosplays for an upcoming convention in a month.
