The issues with letting anyone private message you could probably be dealt with by making that a messaging preference, letting you modify all your preferences, and also adding a block feature to stop people private messaging you and posting public messages on your profile.

Oh gosh. Well, not sure if you know, there's a split between Catholics now. There's the modern Catholic and a Traditional Catholic. Sounds like you went to a modern school..I went to those. They're mean people there. -_- I wish I went to a traditional Catholic school instead. We converted to that recently though.

I used to be pretty shy and have a hard time talking to people. However I've always become more talkative after actually meeting someone. I usually always struggle on the very first few steps and then continue to grow more comfortable as I progress. Nowadays, I'm much more open, but still have a hard time talking to people whom I cannot relate to. However if it comes down to general life discussions and the like, I'm always able to engage in the conversation.

I don't know about you, but the most significant part of our grand interest in the world of anime/manga is the actual characters themselves. Post and share an anime character here and talk about them. This character could be from ANYWHERE. They could be from an anime, manga, video game, whatever. Sometimes just seeing a random character could motivate one to watch the series or play the game. This could have the same effect on you. So go on ahead. Post a character and introduce us to him/her/whatever.
