I'm actually not for handouts with welfare. I just don't want so much bureaucracy that it costs $10 to give the needy a dollar. We need to simplify the system, reduce the amount of bureaucracy and find an effective way to deal with fraud. I personally think cuts to benefits could be done as well. A woman with 4 kids does not need more than $700/month on ebt.I know people who get $1000/month from ebt and get nothing but junk food and steaks and crab legs etc. I'm not even for socialised medicine, but in the US any attempt to reduce the cost of medical care so people can go without insurance is not gonna happen. So I have to make compromises to my beliefs. I can't vote for a mainstream Republican simply because they won't uphold my personal freedoms.

Thanks for replying. Looks like you guys incorporate perfectionism into a very specific part your lives - things that are important or is passionate about. Not sure what position does that put you on. But, cool cool. I was expecting responses in the opposite ends of the spectrum, that they are either not it or are a full-pledged perfectionist. Instead, I got something in the middle. I say that because I find myself switching between the two extremes. Like there a switch that turn on the part me that craves perfection or turns it off and any imperfection is disregarded, and doesn't bother. Wonder if anyone here feel that way too.
