Hey Welcome to MO! In regards to your first statement if you want to learn Japanese the first step is learning basics. As in the alphabet, I recommend learning to read them before speaking if you are not comfortable with it yet. Somethings to look up are Hiragana>Katakana>common Kanji. Then learning sentence structure by simple phrases as well as building vocabulary.

@NotATsun I completely agree, Writing is more for yourself then anyone else. People might not understand the story or not like it but you gave a life to the characters that you have created. That is more for yourself and enjoy what you done then anything else. I write because i enjoy. I don't really do it for anyone else. I know people might not understand or like what i write but i don't really care because i did it more for just the fun of it.
