Confessions

I confess that I think it's just healthier to try and love yourself. If a person starts to make permanent changes to themselves, then a continuous cycle of altering yourself can start. How we view ourselves is usually warped (I know something about that, aha).

Yes, we should be our own best friends, but instead we pick ourselves apart. One of my friends still can't look at herself in the mirror sometimes. Her self-image problem stemmed from the fact that she was bullied incessantly at school. She still carries that with her. But she has learnt to love herself now. Every day she says to herself "You are beautiful."

i confess whenever i smell black tea i think think of my grandparents. whenever i visited (which was alot) i was served several cups of tea (one was irish the other was english, so it was normal to drink more tea than water)
