VIDEO GAMES AS A FEMALE CHARACTOR ONLY!!!!!

There's always Pokemon! There's also Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Pikman 3, Wonderful 101, Bayanetta 2... actually I wonder if Nintindo is catering towards women these days. There are also scary games like Silent Hill 3, Clock Tower, and Fatal Frame that typically has female characters as lead roles.

Liru Samus Aran is the defintion of badass female protags. You have no idea of gaming if you don't think so. The girl trained on a planet with 915x earth's gravity.

Oh man, I hate the characters in Fatal Frame. Friggin Techmo. Lemme tell you, if I was stuck in some haunted as shit location with ghosts out to super murder me, I would not be running like I'm frolicking through some flower field. There would be full limbs extensions everywhere

I think the thing with Samus is that she's a strong character, until they make it a scene where she's obviously a female. As long as she's in an ambiguous armor where you can't tell the gender, she's strong. When they make a point of Samus being a female, they make her more submissive to the opinions of the males around, like Adam. Though I suppose one could argue that Metroid, the other M was an issue of bad storytelling more so than sexism, but it's still there. Consider the first metroid game. Even in the manual it said he all the way up until the last scene where ,one could argue, your trophy for playing the game well is a bikini clad samus.

Other M never happened in my opinion. Made Samus a whiny bitch. Plus didn't give her the senses she had. She should have dodged, people have tried to shoot her in the back and she dodge's them even point blank with ease. Plus Zero Suit Samus has 100+ Tons strength.

You could say it was a man trying to write about a female who is used to solitude. Few characters are like Samus who dives into caves for long periods of time without any other contact, with the planet exploding on her way out. While Other M was made by Ninja Theory, the story came from Nintindo, and they aren't exactly the to go people of excellent writing.

I have NEVER thought of Samus as weak, she pwns even in zero-suit which btw is only sexually stimulating if you have a fetish for jumpsuits it's just Samus also i wanna point out there there were 3 endings for Metroid, the normal, the speed run in which she removed her helmet, and the 100% in which you saw the scantily clad version that WAS aimed towards males, still, if you played Zero Mission you'd know that she doesn't need the suit to be badass and if you've read the manga/comics ALL THE WAY THROUGH you'd know that Samus was ALWAYS stronger than her male counterpart Adam
