That's what I got from the cutscenes. This Sephiroth might be from an alternate timeline where he isn't fully under Jenova's control appears to be implied too.

No doubt it will be another 10 years till the true end. Especially if Nomura is probably begging Gackt to make another appearance haha!

That sounds really painful, I don’t get why some men do that, can it even be used anymore after piercings, seems like it’d be uncomfortable for the partner.
