When it comes to doujin I've found that many times the taboo genres have some attractively drawn characters. Kind of odd though one could argue/infer that it might not be the style as much as a hidden turn on by such a taboo subject that magically makes more characters look appealing but that's just another side if the argument.

Is it the innocence or is it the portrayed naivety that's the attraction? I can see children as cute, but I also see puppies as cute. People like power and control. Said people want to throw out "But, it's a cartoon." and I say "That's not the point.". Now, if it's strictly a thing of cuteness, I understand, but loli is not called loli because it's cute kids, nor do those here who advocate it portray it strictly in that manner.
