It's probably one of the few creatures you'd need a flamethrower to kill an angry swarm of quickly enough to survive.

About the size of your thumb. In other words a good 2x bigger than wasps and hornets here in the states. Plenty terrifying, especially in a swarm.

Gah, regular bees are bad enough. So if it doesn't make honey, is it just meant to pollinate plants?

I think it's just meant to sting your face, but it might pollinate plants too on the side.
