Technically, we could be more advanced however there was a library that burned down and took away from that knowledge

Perhaps we haven't looked far enough into the future yet? This point in time may be significant as the one in which technology exists, where in the further future we have developed an additional sense which puts us in tune with the universe and allows us to manipulate it in such a way that it is beyond our current comprehension and so appears to be magic. Therefore we have to watch the interim as well to comprehend how these abilities came about and function before we could interpret such visions of the further future.

Why did we have to choose such complex topics? xD
Burned down, yeah? Assassins of knowledge, and further explorations.

That was the ancient library of Alexandria correct? Wonder what sorts of cool stuff must have been lost. Maybe they had magic back then?

Why is logic in the olden days always seen as so bad sigh....
End rant before bomb goes off.
But on the topic of logic what is logic can we really define it as one absolute term?

What if that development is a rediscovery?
Yes it was Kitsune. Who's to say we dont have magic now?

Yu, you are rediscovery the secrets of logic.
Everyone has logic. Even if it may seem they are as dumb as dirt. There will always be something there that they know everything about. I guess you can't really define logic. It can come in so many forms.

Agreed on the last part if you look at it from a certain perspective.
Now a more broad question. Can we really define anything as a absolute one term basis without any changes whatsoever.
Also this thread has been hijacked by me and some debaters.
We will continue our debates until this thread is so full of random factoids and views among other experimental reasoning that everybody has a little more knowledge.

Perhaps we'll raise the IQ of the readership a few points?
If we have magic now, it must be a well kept government secret. Not that we don't already have those anyways.
