Difference being the alt left is less distanced from the "more centrist" while the alt right is noted as being distanced. Granted my liberalism or conservatism is issue by issue - although since November 2016 I just cant find myself siding with the alt left (or general left by association) Tangent aside my comment (as far as I see it from the ideology of those exerpts) stands - or rather I stand by it.
